Mr. Yilong Zhu

Mr. Zhu grew up in a family of math teachers, causing him to dream of following in his parents' footsteps and to also become a math teacher. In 1985, after graduating from Shanghai Normal University with BS in mathematics, he became a senior high school math teacher at Chongming High School (a key senior high school in Shanghai). In a few years, he successfully became a leader of young math teachers in the Chongming district.
In 1995, Mr. Zhu graduated from Minnesota State University at Mankato with MS in Math and Computer Science. He started working as an engineer. In 2003, Mr. Zhu started tutoring math to his family and friends' children in his spare time. Mr. Zhu's teaching/tutoring service was getting very popular by so many successful students. Starting in 2013, Mr. Zhu decided to make his teaching/tutoring service as his full-time career. Mr. Zhu's outstanding teaching/tutoring services have helped many students achieve their goals in the last fifteen years. A few major accomplishments include:

Mr. Zane Wu

Mr. Wu has BS in Chemistry from Nanjing University and got his MS in Chemistry from University of Utah during his PhD program.
Mr. Wu currently works in the IT industry, but still loves Chemistry. He has been tutoring Pre-AP/AP Chemistry and SAT Chemistry for the last several years. It has been a rewarding experience for Mr. Wu to watch his students achieve their goals in Chemistry and beyond. Mr. Wu would like to share his love of Chemistry with more talented students by teaching group lessons. |
Dr. Steven Ma

Dr. Steven Ma is a Professor of Practice in the Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics department at Michigan Technological University. He earned his PhD from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1991, MS degree in 1986 from Beijing Polytechnic University and BS degree in 1983 from Beihang University.

Dr. James Zhu

Dr. James Zhu graduated from Fudan University in 1982 with BS in mathematics, was the youngest college graduate of the year in China. Later in 1989, he graduated from Cornell University with a Ph.D. in operations research (Applied Probability and Statistics concentration). He then continued to become a faculty member at Fudan Math Department from 1982-1985, a faculty member at George Washington University and State University of New York at Buffalo for 5 years, and then supervised MS and Ph.D. students before joining the telecom industry in 1994. He was one of the winners at the Shanghai high school math competition (1977) as well as the Fudan undergraduate math competition (1979).
Dr. Zhu has always had a passion for teaching. Since joining the industry, he has been teaching part time at UTD alongside tutoring middle school, high school, college, and graduate school students. After retiring from a successful telecom career in 2015, he has been full time focusing on tutoring middle and high school mathematics. Angela Wu

Angela is currently a freshman undergraduate studying the natural sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. She loves teaching / tutoring chemistry students. During high school, Angela completed AP Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry courses, competing in the US National Chemistry Olympiad competition where she placed as a semifinalist, and tutoring other high school students in Chemistry. She is excited to teach this course and help students learn a solid foundation to chemistry. In her free time, Angela enjoys running, curling up with a good book, and baking desserts.

Jarrod Tung

Jarrod was a previous student of Y-Z Education Services. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Plano Senior High School and is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at UT Austin. During high school, Jarrod completed AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Calculus. He also volunteered for Habitat for Humanities while working at Restore Plano. He playing tennis, volleyball, and pingpong in his spare time.
